Overview
Sonicators are extremely loud devices and will cause discomfort to the user and anyone nearby. The Sound Enclosure reduces noise by approximately 20 dBa.
Ports are located on either side of the enclosure for coolant tubing or a temperature monitoring probe. The interior walls are lined with water resistant acoustical foam.
Compressed air should be used to prevent the buildup of heat inside the enclosure and cool the converter during operation.
Standard Enclosure:
- Exterior Dimensions 36" H x 16" W x 16" D
- Interior Dimensions 34" H x 14" W x 14" D
PLEASE NOTE: A stand and clamp (part #461) is required for use with the standard sound enclosure and is sold separately.
Flocell Enclosure:
- Exterior Dimensions 31" H x 16.5" W x 14" D

If I want the flexibility to use both the standard configuration and the flow cell configuration, do I need to purchase both sound enclosures?
No. In that case, purchase the Standard Enclosure, which is larger and will fit either setup.
