Do the blades on the centrifugal stirrers fold?

Yes, the blades fold downwards on both the stainless steel and PTFE-coated versions.

 

 

For the PTFE coated version of the stirrer, how much of the stirrer is coated? It is just the impeller or the whole thing?

The PTFE coating covers the entire impeller and most of the shaft. Approximately 8 inches (about 20 cm) of the shaft is PTFE coated.
