Magnetic stirrer with heating and ceramic heating plate which offers excellent chemical resistance.

Standard Model Features:

• Powerful motor for stirring quantities of up to 5 l, 10 l, or 15 l (H2O) depending on model.
• Fixed safety circuit of 550 °C
• Hot Top indicator >> hot surface warning to prevent burns!
• Exact temperature setting via digital display (LED)
• Bushing according to DIN 12878 for connecting a contact thermometer, e.g. ETS-D5, enables precise temperature control (On HS 7 and HS 10 models)
• Digital error code display
• Elevated control panel for protection against leaking liquids

• Simultaneous digital display of target and actual temperatures via LCD dispaly

What is the set point temperature resolution on the C-MAG HS Series hotplate stirrers?

We've asked IKA this and have yet to get a particularly straight answer, so we'll just tell you what they told us...

"The C-MAG Basic unit has an analog scale of 0-500 with 5 marks on the dial. In between the first mark, the setting is 30 then at the first mark the setting is 100, the second mark is at 190, the third mark is at 270, the fourth mark is at 330, the fifth mark is at 435 and then the maximum setting is 500 (these are approximate readings). The temperature setting is displayed on the screen.

The C-MAG Digital unit has a digital display scale of 0-500 with a readout of 1 degree increments."
