Foam inserts and 6-inch platform for Vortex-Genies

Choose from a starter set or a selection of foam inserts for the 6" platform compatible with the Vortex-Genie 2 family of mixers and the Vortex-Genie Pulse:

The sample set includes the recessed platform, inserts sold separately do not include a recessed platform.

Model H301 Multiple Sample Starter Set
The Multiple Sample Starter Set (Model H301) consists of a 6-in (152mm) Platform, Microtube Foam Insert, and Microplate Foam Insert. Each insert fits snugly into the 6-in Platform attachment to accommodate either 60 microtubes or one standard footprint microplate, respectively.

6-inch Platform
The 6-inch (152mm) Platform is used in conjunction with the Microtube, Microplate, and Two-Tier Microplate Foam Inserts. Must be purchased for use with any of the foam inserts below.

Microtube Foam Insert (2)
Two high-density foam inserts to accommodate up to 60 microtubes. This insert fits into the 6-in (152mm) Platform attachment (Part No. 146-6005-00, sold separately)

Microplate Foam Insert (2)
Two high-density foam inserts to accommodate one standard footprint microplate. This insert fits into the 6-in (152mm) Platform attachment (Part No. 146-6005-00 sold separately))

Deepwell Microplate Foam Insert (2)
Two EXTRA DEEP (1-1/8" or 3cm) high-density foam inserts to accommodate one standard footprint deepwell microplate. This insert fits into the 6-in (152mm) Platform attachment (Part No. 146-6005-00 sold separately)

Two-Tier Microplate Foam Insert
High-density, double layered foam insert for prolonged shaking of one standard footprint microplate to protect sample from heat-buildup. This insert fits into the 6-in (152mm) Platform attachment (Part No. 146-6005-00 sold separately)
