Dispersing Elements for the Ultra-Turrax® T 25

Dispersing elements are the "tips" which attach to the Ultra-Turrax® T 25 to homogenize samples.  The types of dispersing elements offered with the T 25, as well as the sizes and corresponding sample volume ranges, are below.

 

Standard dispersing elements - Good for cell culture and other applications where the sample is mostly fluid.

S25N­-8G | 1 ml - 50 ml

S25N-10G | 1 ml - 100 ml

S25N­-18G | 10 ml - 1.5 l

S25N-25G | 50 ml - 2 l

 

Saw tooth dispersing elements - Teeth shred and tear tissue and other larger, fibrous material.

S25N­-8G-­ST | 1 ml - 50 ml

S25N-10G-ST | 1 ml - 100 ml

S25N­-18G-­ST | 10 ml - 1.5 l

S25N-25G-ST | 50 ml - 2 l

 

Disposable dispersing elements - Plastic dispersing elements made of polycarbonate and polyetheretherketone (PEEK).  Sold in packs of 12.

S25D-10G-KS | 10 ml - 100 ml

S25D-14G-KS | 10 ml - 500 ml

 

Ultra Fine Dispersing Element - Similar to the standard element, but is capable of producing 2x - 3x smaller particle sizes.
